Indulge in the art of eco-friendly craftsmanship with this Eco-Resin pouring workshop.
In this creative session, learn about our eco-resin and craft exquisite jewelry trays or statement trays using our material. With the freedom to select up to 12 vibrant colors and explore various pouring techniques, you'll get a chance to make and take home your bespoke creations. Our workshops are designed to turn you from a novice to master maker. Bonus – You get bragging rights!
What will you learn?
- Introduction to our eco-resin and its various applications
- Mixing, Pigmenting and coloring to achieve desired results and effects
- Introduction to our no-waste and re-use sustainable process
- Surface finishing by sanding, polishing and sealing your creative piece
- Each participant will make a unique handcrafted tray.
Workshop breakdown: (2 hour workshop)
- 50 mins - instructions and resin pouring
- 40 mins - short break while the resin cures
- 30 mins - adding finishing touches to the piece
About our host : Aisha
I'm Aisha, born and brought up in the UAE, a self thought artist, who has been learning the art of crafting and designing sustainable home décor accessories since 2016. Throughout my journey, I have tested and tried several materials and finally settled with eco-resin due to its versatility and sustainability. I founded Shades Studio in 2019 out of my passion for creating custom home décor accessories and gifts using eco-resin. I also ventured into hosting workshops, turning my love for crafting into a platform for sharing knowledge and fostering creativity and sustainability in the Abu Dhabi Community. I strongly believe that working with sustainable materials and making things with your hands can significantly enhance your well-being, benefit the environment, and provide a therapeutic, calming experience. I love teaching people how to make functional artistic homeware pieces for their homes that they will always cherish and treasure, bringing warmth and creativity into their everyday lives.
